Sites & Hosting
Sites
We operate mining infrastructures on four continents, using exclusively decarbonized energy. Each site is designed to adapt to local conditions and the needs of electricity producers.
Virunga Park – Democratic Republic of Congo
Our partnership with Virunga National Park perfectly illustrates our responsible mining approach. Since 2020, we have been utilizing surplus energy from the park’s hydroelectric plants, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Paraguay
Near the Itaipu Dam, one of the largest hydroelectric power plants in the world, we operate infrastructures powered by 100% hydroelectric energy from the region. The site is currently operating at reduced capacity due to changes in electricity pricing policies.
Oman
In Oman, BigBlock Group pioneered mining in 2022 by launching a pilot project with the management of Green Data City (GDC) in Salalah. Today, GDC is one of the largest mining hubs in the Middle East, with over 200 MW of installed capacity.
Finland
Our infrastructures operate in all climates. The Finnish Nordic cold demonstrates our ability to perform in extreme conditions.
Congo Brazzaville
Our most recent project in Central Africa. Infrastructure is currently being deployed to harness renewable energy and create territorial impact.
Hosting
Integrated hosting for our equipment or hosting of your own machines: our sites offer optimal conditions for all types of Bitcoin mining installations.
Hosting (Turnkey Solution)
The purchase of our equipment includes full hosting: transport, installation, configuration, and commissioning. A fully turnkey solution. We then ensure operation and maintenance for a percentage-based fee calculated on your net production (after deduction of electricity costs).
External Hosting
A hosting service is also available for equipment not sold by us, under specific conditions.
Our turnkey solutions
Many sustainable power plants have excess capacity, whether permanent or temporary.
Permanent excess capacity example: A hydro plant of 50MW (5 turbines of 10) operates all year on only 2 turbines.
Temporary excess capacity example: A geothermal plant runs at only 50% of its nominal power for 9 months a year.
Whatever the type of excess capacity you have—permanent or temporary, 10GW or 500KW—there is a suitable solution to turn this “surplus” into a resource. This solution is a Bitcoin mining farm: the missing link in the energy transition, making sustainable production tools more profitable.
We have experience in mining under the most extreme climatic conditions, in difficult or even hostile environments. Our solutions are compatible with hydro, geothermal, methanization, solar and wind, and even flare gas.
